Become a master of underwater navigation
No one really wants to get lost under water, apart from the cheeky comments when you eventually do return to your original intended point, you can avoid underwater confusion, save time and increase enjoyment by learning how to navigate properly with the underwater navigation speciality course. Okay so the visbility in the Red Sea is pretty hard to match anywhere in the world (think 30+ mtrs all year round). You might also be thinking you don't need to know how to return to your starting point or find your way to a wreck as you have a guide with you, but natural navigation is a daily part of our jobs and you're sure to need both it and compass skills when diving in the UK waters or even in more tropical destinations at certain times of the year, so read on to find out a little more about the course.
